Whale World
 Take an interactive journey through the site of the last operating whaling station in Australia accompanied by a series of audio visual displays, artefacts and whaling history.  Explore over 20 exhibits including an awesome skeleton exhibit, the Cheynes IV whalechaser and three state-of-the-art technological theatres. 

Open:Daily from 9am (except 25 Dec).  Tours run hourly from 10amto 4pm.

Albany's Rugged Coastline

Torndirrup National Park , on the otherside of Princess Royal Harbour is where you will find spectacular natural costal scenery. The "Gap", Natural Bridge, Jimmy Newhills Inlet and the Blowholes are all in this area

Fenchman's Bay Road will also take you to the Windfarm - Australia's largest Wind Farm - alongside magnificent coastal views.

Beautiful Frenchman's Bay and Whaleworld are at the end of this road and we can take you to see it all on a Harley.

Along the way are other attractions like the Gem House and Albany Bird Park ( A huge undercover walk-in Bird Aviary)

Old Convict Gaol

Step back into Albany's dark side!
See the hangman's yard, hear ghostly tales,
experience extreme darkness in the Black Hole - if you dare!

Albany's old convict gaol (or jail) was built in 1852 by convicts
and is open to the public during the day as a museum and now also by arranged tour at night time.

Cost for the night tours is $10.00 per person
which includes supper & a complimentary daytime pass to visit Patrick Taylor Cottage.
Join a scheduled tour on Friday or Saturday nights
or get a group together of 8 people or more for a special tour on a night of your choice.

Bookings are essential for the night tours -
bookings can be made at the Albany Visitor Centre or by phone on 9841 8518 to the organiser.

The Sandalwood Factory at Mount Romance's headquarters in Albany, Western Australia.
Just a short 12km drive from Albany (2km north of the Albany Airport).
Drop in for a quick visit or spend half a day at your leisure.

Visitors can take a free tour, shop in our magnificent international showroom,
wine, dine or snack in the Café Sultan, sample our special Sandalwood infused wines
and, as a very special treat, why not book and spend an hour in 'The Cone, the Gong and The Bowl'
- a very unique relaxation experience found only at 'The Sandalwood Factory'
